NEEDLE drops a second bombtrack from their 6th upcoming album “No Borders”. Turn up the volume for “One To Fight for”, a call for empathy and mental health support in polarizing lockdown times.

Ghent (B) – September 8th 2021 – NEEDLE band members Wim Deliveyne, Luc Waegeman and Peter De Bosschere did not see each other a lot in the last 18 months. They came together once to play a live session without audience and took this opportunity to try out new tracks they composed separated from each other. The fruits of this unusual writing process sounded like locked up animals screaming to get out of their cages.

“One To Fight For”, after "Backfire" the second track that will appear on their upcoming 6th full album release “No Borders” and the first track taken from the 2021 live stream session, bears the hallmarks of unstable mental health during disruptive times. A cry for empathy and care for friends and strangers who suffer from sudden isolation. An observation of social media lynch mobs shouting out their self-made truths. More tracks from this live session will make it to “No Borders”, combined with tracks that were recorded by the musicians separately in their homes during lockdown. Release date of the full album is foreseen in 2022.
